THERE WE WERE …
…. at the Alaska Folk Festival the purpose of which is to provide educational opportunities in the field of American folk music to everyone. The Alaska Folk Festival strives to maintain, perpetuate, and grow traditions of American folk music. The Alaska Folk Festival will always be free to attend (no admission costs) and will encourage the education and growth of nonprofessional music performers.

We found a fine spot to listen to the music. It was a perfect place out of the way though still close to,the stage.

There is no admission charge to any concert, dance, workshop or other event.,,of course, they are happy t#o welcome guide dogs.

The funny moment was upon ur arrival. Jonah depends on me for directions in a new place. We walked into what I thought was the concert hall. We discovered that we had entered the “folk dance workshop”. Though a mistake, it was true that I already had a “guide dog partner.”
