This election result time has been difficult fr me. My pre election anxiety has turned to post election depression.

Thank goodness for supportive community.. Yesterday, a good, intelligent, and thoughtful friend reminded me of the quote as follows:

“I wish it need not have happened in my time,” said Frodo.”So do I,” said Gandalf, “and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”

There are other forces at work in this world…

  1. I’m wondering if I was created for a time such as this. At least one of my ancestors fought in the American Revolution. I cannot shrink back and sit idly by.

  11. Gandalf was a smart wizard. That said, it’s still hard to comprehend what we’re feeling now. Thank goodness the dogs seem to sense my mood and are quite solicitous to help with the clouds.
