Canada celebrates its 150th birthday on July 1st 2017, On July 1, 1867 Canada became a new federation with its own constitution by affixing their “John Hancock” (or should be say: “Red Green / Gordy Howe / Dudley Do-right”) to the Constitution Act – formerly known as the British North America Act.
