Orientation & Mobility Immersion Program with Guide Dog For The Blind is completed…

My return from OM training on the GDB campus means that I now have a chance to put the instruction into practice. I trust you will excuse my absence.

Who knew that street intersection safety was a learned procedure analyzing: shape ( plus, tee, slated, offset), control (ie. lights, sign, or none), direction (perpendicular and parallel), lanes (number) and visibility (of my position).

My instructor was excellent. I know this training will make me a safer and flexible traveler. My guide dog Jonah is my model for … confidence and resilience.
