On April 19, 1775 an uprising of citizens took place which ended in Violence.
A delusional and narcissistic King George III had taken unilateral action without consulting the colonists. The Parliament had neglected to heed the Americans warnings.

King George had imposed taxes and levied trade restrictions which detrimentally affected every day life in the colonies. The kings executive orders had been issued without due regard for the affected of his edicts..
The colonists had requested relief from king George’s dictatorial proclamations. The Americans had long sought redress in London, though their requests for parliamentary intervention had fallen on deaf ears. The parliament in London had allowed King George to wield unlimited authoritarian control against his colonial citizens.
The American colonies had developed democratic values and traditions of self governance. They valued their self determination. They resented being told what to do and think. King George had failed to recognize the Americans rights to life and liberty.
The grievances of the American citizens against their imperial government led to the violent confrontation at Lexington and Concord on the village green April 19, 1775.
The outrage against Donald Trump’s authoritarianism is reminiscent of the grievance against King George. Let us hope the country can avoid at similar violent response.
I agree. He is definitely wired oddly.

Sadly I think the current occupant in the White House views himself as a modern day King George. I hope at some point he gets religion and changes his tune. For the country’s sake.
