THERE WE WERE…
…at the gym as I asked my guide dog Jonah to “Find the mat.” He responded directly to it. However, then I heard a voice exclaim, “Oh my, hello,”

It seems that on his wy to the mat, John had decided to give a big lick to a person who was already there. I apologized and remarked that Jonah is not suppoosedto approach others…certainly not lick them.
The guy chuckled, and said “I guess that I was just a bit extra salty. It’s the nicest thing to happen to me in days.”
Good one!

True!! If he’d been a cat-lover there might have been some hissing involved. Lol!!

So sweet, Jonah! The pastor where I work will walk in and say, “Lucy, give me a kiss!” And she will.

Dog kisses are always welcomed. It’d be a highlight of my day if I had been the recipient.
