THERE WE WERE…
…At the gym proceeding from one machine to the next. Our routine was forced to change due to a large number of people at the gym. both Jonah and I are used to routines and progressing in a particular order.

We (or more accurately, “I”) became disoriented and could not find the next machine. A nice lady asked whether I needed help finding anything. When I told her, she responded, “Well, it’s right here. He took you right to it.”

Now…who’s the “dumbbell”?
Thus, proving the guide dog instructor adage: “WHEN IN DOUBT, TRUST THE DOG”.
You’re very welcome. Joy gratefully received. 😊

In a totally different way, I’ve had to learn to trust the dog when we work on Freestyle routines. They (well, Xena, and previously Lexi) can hear things in the music that make them want to do something different than what I plan. I have learned to listen to my dog!

Your funny end note made me smile and it also made me think about the challenges you must face with stores and places that are always changing the location of things. Seems to be a thing around here.

Not a mistake…merely a deviation from the routine.
