THERE WE WERE…
…walking along a frequently traveled residential sidewalk. Indeed, my guide Jonah and I traverse the location every day as it just one block from our house.

The neighbor’s pnlox are pretty though they have been growing through their fence and obstructing the sidewalk. The sidewalk is narrow and the encroaching flowers have begun to interfere with Jonah’s guide work.

The situation called for householder gardening though this was unlikely since the property is rented with an absent owner. I took matters into “my own hands” (literally) and pulled the obstructing flowers out.

Perhaps this was too drastic though it seemed justified.
Note:: The narrative and Jonah are real though stock photo images are from Pixel website.
Thanks. I appreciate your support.

I think you had sufficient reason to get rid of the obstructive plant. You will not be the only one to have found the plant in their way.

Thanks nobody likes to eliminate flowers without a good reason.

You shouldn’t feel badly; ou did a public service for the whole neighborhood. And…the good thing about flowers, they can come back later to bloom another day.

Good job! I’m sure no one minded. Now Jonah can be a guide dog again!

Sometimes you just gotta take things in hand. That sidewalk was probably problematic for you and others so everyone owes you big time. Well done 👍🏻
