This famous bit of fatherly advice is spoken by Polonius to Laertes shortly before Laertes leaves for France, in Act I, scene iii (59–80) HAMLET ~~~ William Shakespeare
It seems Jonah agrees with the advice.

Jonah is a wise pup. The “but few your voice” part is pretty hard for most people.
