“Golden Sleep” on the radiator – Dogs inspired by Shakespeare

“… But where unbruised youth with unstuff’d brain
Doth couch his limbs, there golden sleep doth reign”
~~~ William Shakespeare – Romeo and Juliet (2.3.36-42)
It seems both Owen and Wyatt are joined together in “golden sleep” on the radiator cover by the front window. This was a lovely moment of peace yesterday.
  1. The “sleep of dogs” is something I always aspire to!  Don’t know if any famous poet has written about that yet…?Amy
