Ear Flapping “Live On Air” For National Radio Day August 20th

Relaxing after a live on air radio show.

A “live on-air” show is a sure source of unanticipated fun. An example of these unscripted surprises was heard today during my radio show celebrating National Radio Day. ( https://nearshoreradio.com/ ). What could go wrong?

I was accompanied into the studio by Jonah, my trustee guide dog. He was quieting napping while the songs from Pirate Radio were playing. However, he woke up when the music stopped and he heard me speaking into the microphone.

Jonah stood up, walked over to my microphone, and shook his head. The sound of Labrador flapping ears was clearly heard in my headphones. It was perfect moment of spontaneous comedy (the best kind). I was quick to assure the radio listeners that sound of flapping ears were not my ears.
