Old fence…to paint or not to paint?

Wyatt seems proud of his old fence with new paint.

Old fence with new paint…is it worth it?

I suppose the answer depends on what “it” is. If the goal is to renew the fence to like-new condition, then no. As the structure will still be wobbly with rotten spots in sections.

However, if the object is to perhaps extend its life, and for sure to improve its appearance, then yes. The project also has the advantage that is easy and within my minimal skill set.

So there you have the answer to the question, namely:

To be, or not to be painted: that is the question:

Whether ’tis nobler in the yard to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous peeling,
Or to take arms against a fence of troubles,

PS…We celebrate the anniversary of The day when William Shakespeare was baptized on April 26th with an old fence with new paint.
